About ChurchOn and these terms

ChurchOn is a church management service built and run by X CODE ONE SDN. BHD., a company registered in Malaysia ("we" or "us"). It covers the church console (console.churchon.org), public bulletins (www.churchon.org/b/…), and this website.

By signing in to ChurchOn, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Your account

• Sign in with your email and password, a 6-digit code sent to your email, or your Google account. Your account is created the first time you sign in.
• As a rule, each person uses one account. Please don't share it.
• Keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself. If you think someone else is using your account, let us know right away.
• You must be at least 14 years old to create a console account.

Churches and roles

• Whoever registers a church becomes its admin.
• Admins invite pastors and staff, assign roles, and manage church info and sharing settings.
• If you leave a church or an admin removes you, you lose access to that church's data.
• One account can belong to more than one church.

Church data and member information

Member records, bulletins, and library files that a church enters all belong to that church. We store and process them on the church's behalf, and we never use them for anything else or sell them.

Your church is responsible for the member information it handles. Before adding or publishing someone's information, let them know and get their consent where needed. Pay special attention to the following:

• Faith-related details, like attendance or baptism, are sensitive information.
• Information about children under 14 may require a parent's or guardian's consent.
• Names, giving lists, and volunteer rosters in a public bulletin can be seen by anyone.

Anyone with the link can see the following without signing in. Double-check the content before you share it.

Please don't

When using ChurchOn, please don't do any of the following. If you do, we may limit your access.

• Break the law or infringe on anyone's rights
• Collect or share other people's personal information without their consent
• Upload or send spam or malicious files
• Overload the service or try to break its security
• Copy or resell the service

Pricing

• Right now we offer only the Free plan. Each church can have up to 100 members, 20 bulletins, 5 users, and 1 GB of storage.
• We don't charge anything, and we don't collect card or other payment details.
• If we introduce paid plans later, we'll tell you in advance and update these terms first.

Changes to the service

• ChurchOn keeps improving, so features may change, be added, or be removed.
• The service may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or outages. When we know in advance, we'll tell you.
• If we ever need to shut the service down, we'll give plenty of notice and help your church review or move its data using whatever options are available at the time.

Responsibility

• We do our best to keep the service safe and reliable.
• Churches and users are responsible for the content they enter or publish.
• We aren't liable for indirect losses unless they result from our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
• We recommend that your church also keeps its own copy of important records.

When these terms change

If we update these terms, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page and notify you in the console or by email at least 7 days before any major change takes effect. If you keep using ChurchOn after that, you agree to the updated terms.
